Henna indigo powders are both vegan hair dyes when combined can create any experimental colour shade of browns and black only. On grey hair you can achieve light, medium, dark brown to black/jet black hair colouring. Henna naturally relaxes and softens hair while indigo thickens giving hair volume.
Henna gives a red hair colour and indigo a blue hair colour and when combined together you can achieve various colour shades of brown, auburn chestnut copper chocolate to black. Black hair is always a two way process (1) apply henna which will turn grey/white hair an orange red colour and (2) wash henna out and apply indigo for an hour or more to get black or jet black hair.
How much henna to use for hair length? (Please note this is approximate and is dependent on length and thickness of hair i.e. short cropped hair or beard can get away with using 50g or less).
