  • 100% Organic Natural Hair Dye

Henna hair powder has been used to dye hair for centuries. Natural Henna hair colour gives a reddish brown hue to existing hair colour, often an orange-red colour or subtle copper colour more apparent on white or gray hair coverage.

The benefits of henna is that it is a completely natural chemical-free hair dye. No peroxide, ammonia, parabens or heavy metals and best of all it is a ppd-free hair dye with no harsh chemicals found in synthetic hair dyes. Our Indian henna powder is 100% organic henna from Rajasthan, India.

Henna is natural orange-red hair dye and indigo blue. With indigo powder henna can produce any shade of brown hair and black hair color and is the alternative beard dye for men with sensitive skin and itchy beard as henna powder will help to relieve itchiness and dry scalp with frequent use. See henna color chart for brown black hair dye variations.

Made from dried henna leaves of the henna plant, Lawsonia Inermis, our henna powder is suitable to all hair types, Asian, European, African-Caribbean (including dreadlocks). Because henna leaf powder is a natural product from the henna plant, unlike synthetic hair dyes,  remaining unused henna can be frozen for another day so never a need for wastage.

There is no limit to henna’s dyeing power. Grounded and triple-sifted into fine powder our henna mix easily into a smooth henna paste making it an easy hair dye to wash out of hair and ideal for henna cones paste.

Henna naturally soften and relax hair whilst indigo provides thickness and volume. Always use amla powder with indigo powder for softness, conditioning and easy application, especially for first time use. Amla powder can also be used with henna to tone down the red in henna for a softer red brown colour. However, all the hair powders in the range can be mixed in with henna but only amla with indigo as it is a much weaker hair dye.

HENNA WITH INDIGO

Henna powder can be combined with indigo powder to create permanent hair dye colours of browns and black from light brown, ash brown, dark brown, medium brown and black to jet black natural hair colouring. It is not like the commercial henna herbal hair dyes that may contain ppd in order to give an instant colour.
